Superb Virtual Reality
These guys have done it again! After watching their 2004 demo (think I posted it a long time ago), I just came across a new demo today. Really impressive stuff! I love the way they interact with a static medium (like a magazine) through the camera-equipped portable PC that serves as a "lens" for a 3D virtual reality "eye". Impressive stuff!

This is seriously cool! I knew about t-immersion but never seen this demo before.
The tech for Augmented Reality has been around for several years now, and we even have some some folks in SG unis doing that. The graphics in the video is amusing and well done but I don't think its showing anything *new*. Biggest challenge, as you can see in the vid, is business case -- still searching for the killer app there.
