Travel the world, by bike!

We met this Dutch couple while we were backpacking in Europe. They were on a journey, a really long journey, from Gaanderen (Holland) to Beijing (China) by bike! That was almost 10 months ago, and now they're in India. I really envy them, and admire their courage to leave behind everything, to take in what the world has to offer them. Here's their website, "Travel by Bike". It's in Dutch, but you should still check out their photos! They even mentioned us in their "Rome" entry. Just use an online translation service such as "Babel Fish" to translate the page. Here's the translation of the paragraph (the online translation does a decent job! I was quite surprised):

"In florence we stand on a camp-site with a terrible view concerning the city. We stand on a terrace camp-site under the olive-trees and it seems a tent show. Here as lot of stand trekkerstentjes and we see there none two the same. Behind our state tentje with two youngsters from singapore. ' s evening offers them us ' a cup champagne and strawberries. They have bought because they find that this is appropriate that, however, at such a view and them want let us enjoy of this gladly. And we could come still again in singapore have we free overnachtingsadres! These meetings are always complete particular."

Anyhow, I really really hope that one day, me and Tammy can travel the world too! That'd be the ultimate experience isn't it?

This map tells all...
