This is how a traditional chinese medicine pharmacy would look like...with all the "yao cai" stored in big cans or wooden boxes..

Back in the 60's, HK suffered from a series of water shortages...so for some days the ppl would only receive 1-2 hours of water supply...this picture shows the long line of people queuing up with their buckets to receive their daily supply of water before they carry the water back home..
