CSP6 Day3

After the opening ceremony, we had lunch at the canteen at HKU...and then we saw this, a memorial statue of the 4 june tiannannman incident...some of the mainland delegates were shocked to see the visual representation (with dying limbs clamered together and fighting to get to the peak) and the words emblazoned across "4 june massacre"...apparently their knowledge of the incident is even more hazy than mine...i wonder what's really on their mind when they saw the statue...

In the afternoon, we were received by the commissioner of foreign affairs of the PRC in HK SAR...here he's giving a speech, in English! I guess i shouldn't be that surprised by his command of english since he's probably one of the top chinese diplomat to hold this post..
